Electronics

Electronicss Cleanrooms are controlled spaces designed to keep out air contaminants of a certain level. Cleanrooms are typically used to reduce the pollution from unfiltered air in the manufacturing of products like pharmaceuticals, microprocessors, E-liquids, as well as food products.

Such contaminants as Chemical vapours, aerosol particles, fibrous materials and microorganisms are but a small example of which contaminants can be harmful to production and research. Our Electronicss Modular Cleanrooms are designed to conform to the international organisation for standardisation (ISO) 14644-1: 2015.

Electronicss Modular Cleanrooms, built to the ISO 14644-1:2015 specification, are classed from 1 to 9. Classifications are set depending on the level of pollutants the cleanroom maintains as well as their sizes. The highest classification of Electronicss Modular Cleanrooms of this standard (Class 1) will be valued based on the smallest range of pollutants entering the clean air environment and lowest frequency whereas the Class 9 category of Cleanrooms, which represents the minimum classification, will be valued based on having a higher frequency and much larger contaminants entering the cleanroom.

Particle counters are used to gauge the Particles Per Cubic Metre (PPCMM) of Electronicss Modular Cleanrooms to determine their classification. For ISO Class 9 Cleanrooms, the removal of air pollutants of sizes >5 microns are analysed for in an environment that is typically equivalent to the air of suburbs.

A Class 1 Cleanroom will be designed to filter out much smaller air pollutants >0.2 and >0.1 which makes it the cleanest air enclosure in the classification range. Here is an example of this kind of testing requirement.

A Class 7 Cleanroom will be tested for a particulate size of > 0.5 microns with a maximum particle count of 352,000. If this test exceeds the maximum number, the Electronicss Cleanroom will need to be modified and retested to meet the classification.

Contamination-Free Manufacturing

The use of HEPA/ULPA filtering technology is employed to achieve the level of clean air quality in Electronicss Modular Cleanrooms. These filters are scientifically proven to reduce the size and quantity of air particulates entering a cleanroom. Contaminated air goes through Filter Fan Units (FFUs), ensuring there’s positive pressure in the Cleanroom. It is this positive pressure that sustains the clean air conditions preventing the backflow of contaminated air into the Clean air space through exhaust openings.

The type of Electronicss Cleanroom aforementioned assures that only air that has passed through the filtration unit enters the internal area allowing for contamination-free production.

Modular Cleanroom Benefits

  • Modular Construction
  • Quick Assembly Time
  • Versatility
  • Reconfiguration
  • Airflow Control
  • Inexpensive Modifications

With a Electronicss Cleanroom solution, there’s a low likelihood of product contamination and this is the first stage of securing a pollution-free production area. The next steps involves making sure personnel don’t contaminate the cleanroom. Cleanroom clothing like gowning, hair nets, and overshoes can go a long way in helping to avoid the introduction of pollutants by personnel. This will reduce fibres and potential contaminants from entering the Electronicss Cleanroom and interfering with Production/ research. Operators of Electronicss Cleanrooms must be adequately trained on contamination reduction processes to keep the Cleanroom safe from contamination.

Industry Demands

Cleanrooms are critical in the production and research processes of industries that require a minimised level of particulate occurrence in order to avoid product contamination.

The Cleanroom is crucial for reducing particulates in the production environment via air filtration. Cleanrooms are used in the production of medical devices, semiconductors, food products, electronics and a lot more.

With saakvee delivering your Cleanrooms, rest assured you’ll be getting what meets the highest standards for your needs. You can be guided by our experts if you’re entirely sure of the standard of Electronicss Cleanroom your industry requires.

All our Electronicss Modular Cleanrooms are designed to satisfy the requirements of the ISO 14644-1: 2015. Electronicss Modular Cleanrooms that satisfy the ISO 14644-1:2015 standard vary from ISO 1-9. Cleanrooms are put into different class according to the number and size of contaminants in the clean air area. A Cleanroom with the highest classification (class 1) will be tested for the smallest particulate sizes whereas the lowest classified Cleanroom (Class 9) will have a much larger size and a greater quantity of air particulates entering the clean air space.

Particle counters are used to determine the classification of Electronicss Modular Cleanrooms by assessing their Particles Per Cubic Metre (PPCM). Particle counters measure air particulates by quantity and size. ISO 1 rated cleanrooms are evaluated for the extraction of small air particulates >0.1 microns and >0.2 microns whereas an ISO 9 cleanroom, which has a similar PPCM to suburban air, will be tested for the removal of larger air contaminants >5 microns.

Containment Solutions

When certain unhealthy substances are to be prevented from making it into the external atmosphere from the cleanroom, containment solutions are required. This can be achieved in a Modular Cleanroom with the capability to protect production processes by letting in filtered air and prevent dangerous materials from leaving through the use of carbon filters, ULPA (Ultra-Low Particulate Air), or HEPA (High-Efficiency Particulate Air). At saakvee, we have the expertise to deliver containment solutions that are ideal to your particular needs that can trap in harmful chemicals and prevent them from making it to the outside air, which will see you work within the requirements of your regulators.

The containment solutions which we deliver are uniquely built due to the fact that dangerous substances vary according to output and size. This entails the need for custom made containment systems for every customer. We will work with you to find the solution most practical to your use.

Airflow And Filtration

Our Cleanrooms are designed to be compliant to the specified ISO 14644-1:2015 grading. With this in mind, we take into consideration the level of air filtration required and the end function of the cleanroom. The level of air filtration required is determined by the air changes per hour (ACH), this determines how many Filter Fan Units are to be used in the cleanroom. What we also determine by the strategic positioning of the FFUs and exhausts is the flow of air around the cleanroom. This can mean the difference between a uni-directional (laminar flow) and a non-unidirectional (turbulent flow) airflow around a cleanroom, potentially leading to a contaminated product. With this in mind, we can greatly increase the number of ACH and control the air flow within the cleanroom.

Filtration of air is controlled by our ultra-quiet, high-efficiency filtration modules. These filtration modules automatically compensate for a build-up of dust and other materials that occur over time within a HEPA/ULPA filter increasing the fan speed to reach the set flow rate. This increases the life of the filter, reducing cost overtime for the end user.
